The "Reviving the Mayor" legend is an urban legend revolving around the 2007 action-adventure game Drawn to Life.

Description

In the game's main hub world, the Raposa Village, there is a wishing well that the player can deposit coins into for extra lives and other such goodies. One of the game's major characters (Mari), at one point in the game, remarks "If I had 10,000 Rapo coins, I would just throw them all in the well!...Maybe something fun would happen!" If the player actually does deposit a total of 10,000 coins into the well, they are given access to the Developer's Grove (also known as the Secret Village), a village filled with animated avatars of the game's developers.

Players can talk to them and gain various points of insight on the game's development, but one developer, Jeremiah, says the following: "Did you find the secret flower in Wilfre's lair to save the Mayor? ...Or is there really one?" Shortly before fighting the game's final boss Wilfre, the villain murders Mari's father, the village's mayor. This led to players scouring the final level of the game for this mysterious flower.

In a 2016 tweet, another of the game's developers, James Y, said "There is no such flower. Miah thought that would be a funny prank." [1]
