The "Chocolate Factory Level" legend is an urban legend revolving around the 1985 platforming game Super Mario Bros..

In one of his "How to Win at Nintendo Games" guidebooks, author Jeff Rovin mentioned that he had heard rumors of a secret level hidden in the game, a level taking place in a chocolate factory. He claimed that he had no idea where or how to access it, but the mere suggestion was all fans needed to start digging through the game in order to find it. As it turns out, the myth was nothing more than a prank on Rovin's part.
