The "Artisans Gate" legend is an urban legend revolving around the 2018 3-D platforming game Spyro Reignited Trilogy.
Description
In the remake version of the original 1998 game Spyro the Dragon, a large red door was added to the castle located behind the spawn point in the Artisans homeworld. It is the only gate of its kind, but at no point in the game does it ever open, no matter what the player does. However, when charged, the door will shake as though there is something on the other side prevented it from opening. It is the only door in the game that acts like this, leading many to speculate that there is a hidden secret behind the door. Using glitches and hacks, it is possible to get past the door, but there is nothing there aside from a short hallway.
Trivia
- Fans have theorized that the door will become relevant in the future, potentially containing extra DLC levels similar to those added to the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
- As of now, its purpose has not yet been revealed by either Toys for Bob or Activision.
